Woodward West

Here are a few disposable pics I took while working this summer at Woodward. I got a cast off of a broken ankle the day before I left so I wasn't able to ride the parks to their fullest. I was a counselor and a BMX instructor and it was an amazing experience. I taught pups how to ride in the mornings and it was awesome watching them improve after my direction. Some kids got drastically better over throughout the week. As a counselor I was probably a little too relaxed but all of the campers had a good time and that is all that really matters. My homie Max from Petaluma was working the first week I was there and we had a good time shreddin and chillin. Woodward could definitely lighten up a little and pay their employees a decent wage but all in all it was a good experience. I was probably not the most qualified candidate for the job, but free riding, food and housing, a paycheck, and making a difference in kids lives sounds pretty good to me.
