Transit Transit is Autolux’s sophomore album. Hailing from LA Autolux consists of Carla Azar, Greg Edwards and Eugene Goreshter. The album was produced by the band themselves and engineered by lead vocalist, Edwards. Transit Transit was released in July of 2010 however the band has been working on the tracks since 2006. The release date of Transit Transit has constantly been pushed back before finally making its appearance in record stores across the country. Each member of Autolux fully demonstrates their individual instrumental talents however the band’s harmony is what ties this album together. Each song is a complex piece of art in its own right, using vintage synthesizers and manipulated ambience to produce a sonic tone.
