I've been slowly stepping into the world of calligraphy through my art class in Boulder. It is so simple yet requires so much technique and experience and when done right can look so clean. These pieces above are from LA Muralist and Graffiti artist Retna who I was reading about in Juxtaposed the other day. Burning Spear is no doubt one of my favorite Reggae musicians. His voice is so uplifting and hopeful.
