A Song and a Flick

I have been on the road for the past three or so weeks now. Almost reaching a month. I am currently writing from a house in Mammoth after a full nights worth of driving and waking up at about two in the afternoon. Here is one of the first pictures I took on my travels on a solo drive through the I 5 towards Tehachapi. I was driving through this scenery for hours on end. Long drives are more therapeutic than any form of counseling or medicine. Nothing but the California landscape, your wandering thoughts and some sporadic music to help ease the mind. It's what is keeping me alive. This song reminds me of driving through the desert. I wish I was alive when the Femmes were still playing.
