This album is one of Modest Mouse's newer releases. I would definitely consider it a diverse mix of tracks. It opens with the most well known track, but not my favorite, Satellite Skin. Some of the gems on the album in my opinion are the Whale Song, a really heavy and deep track with few lyrics and King Rat, one of Modest Mouse's much more darker and satanic songs with a heavy banjo influence. Modest Mouse's satanic like songs are always very enjoyable for me and you can find satan in tracks such as the Devil's workday and Tiny Cities Made of Ashes. If you've scratched the surface of Modest Mouse and want something a little more experimental this album has what you are looking for.
